John Duncan is a lifelong East Tennessean with a diverse background covering all aspects of real estate. He has built a reputation for representing his client’s with professionalism, around the clock service, and a business like approach that ensures their financial and personal goals are met.
Since becoming a REALTOR, John has specialized in new construction as well as helping buyers and sellers in all parts of the Knoxville area.
John has worked in and around real estate for many years through banking, government relations, and serving in a local political office. As a consultant in Tennessee and Washington DC, he has assisted clients in multiple real estate projects as well as commercial development. In banking, he focused on real estate lending and spearheaded the appraisal review process of a local community bank. At age 29, he was elected Knox County Trustee by receiving more votes than any candidate in the history of the county. As Trustee, John’s chief responsibility was the collection of hundreds of millions of dollars in property taxes.
In his spare time, John has served on multiple nonprofit boards, been involved in numerous philanthropic activities, and coached youth sports. He is the husband of Jennifer Rhodes Duncan and the proud father of twins, Jimmy and Charlie.
